The project on high-performance bio-based nylon sheathing for cables, led by Henan Guowang Cable Group in collaboration with Zhengzhou University and the Isotope Research Institute of the Henan Academy of Sciences, has been successfully selected for the Henan Provincial Key Research and Development Program for 2026. This project breaks the foreign monopoly on high-end nylon sheathing materials and represents a milestone in achieving self-reliance in core materials for the Henan cable industry, contributing to the green upgrade of the national cable industry.
